Catch the Moment 365 ~ Week 33

Holy cow, how in the world did I fall this far behind!?!?!

August 15, 2014:  Always with the bubbles and drool! I love how attentive he's becoming!

August 16, 2014:  I'm in love with the colors of this one!

August 17, 2014:  This picture just makes me laugh! The kids were having fun swimming in our pool. I snapped this one just as Tyler came up out of the water.

August 18, 2014:  Such a big boy!

August 19, 2014:  Daddy brought home some flowers for me Bailey.

August 20, 2014:  He's Mommy's boy, but he sure knows how to work Daddy too!

August 21, 2014:  This week was all about Hunter! Probably because the older two are tired of the camera being in their face!

Here's hoping I can get myself all caught up this week! I love this project, but have been slacking just a little over the last month

4 Months ~ Hunter

Your mom has been a total slacker as of late. Between school, you, your brother and sister, and everything I have to complete at home this post is WAAAY late. As in you'll be 5 months next week kind of late. I hope you can forgive me!

This month has been an absolute blast! I enjoyed spending the last of my work free days with you and your siblings at home. We packed the last few weeks with as much fun as we possibly could. You have become a social butterfly and continue to amaze me with your growth daily!

Stats:  14lbs 9.5ozs (55%) and 25.25in (55%)

4 Month Appointment:  Mommy has been a little worried about one of your eyes and your neck muscles. Your doctor was out on maternity leave this month, but the new doctor that we saw assured me that you are developing normally. She says you're just a tad too lazy to work your neck and your eye muscles. Yes, she called you lazy. The plan is to continue monitoring your growth and progress with the hope that you'll outgrow both problems. :0)

They also believe that you have a dairy sensitivity and have taken me off of all dairy products. I'm doing it because I love you, but this. is. awful. Late in the month you broke out in a horrible rash and had to be taken to Urgent Care. Let's not do that again. We're unsure of the cause, but it was either due to a virus or a reaction to dairy and we're guessing it's the dairy.

Sleep:  You're still going to bed around 7:30/8:00 and sleeping until around 4 or 5 for a quick snack and then resume sleeping until 7:00. You're still sleeping in your Rock n' Play right next to mom and dad.

Likes:  You love to be tossed around (gently of course), kisses on your neck, bath time, and playing with your muslin and taggie blankets. Daddy put your crib up (I think it's just for looks) and you'll lay and watch your mobile for hours.

Dislikes:  Being left alone, sitting still for diaper and clothing changes, and waiting for more than 3 seconds to eat.

Favorite toys:  Taggie blankets, muslin blankets, playgym

Eating:  You're nursing every 2 to 3 hours when I'm home, and eating a 3 oz. bottle every two hours at daycare.

Milestones:  You're pulling yourself up to sit, began reaching for objects early in the month and are now pretty accurate, holding your head up at a 45 degree angle during tummy time, rolling over onto your side and putting objects into your mouth to chew. You can also recognize our voices and faces.

Toothcount:  None, but I'm sure they're coming soon!

Words/Sounds:  This month you have found your high pitched squeal! You also have been playing with the sounds you are making to see how loud, quiet, and squealy you can become!

Clothes:  You are still in 3 to 6 month clothes and are in a size 2 diaper.

Firsts:  You went on your first boat ride this month and spent your first day at daycare. :(

You have been a tremendous blessing to our family. We couldn't have asked for a better baby. Your personality lights up the room and everyone that meets you immediately falls in love.

Top 5 Saturday Laughs: 9-20-2014

School has gotten off to a great start! I must say that I love my new school, my new team, and my students! They are keeping me busy and I haven't been on here as much as I would like, but hopefully I'll be able to catch everything up soon! For now, here are some of the crazy things they have said/done over the last couple of weeks!

5.  Bailey has been experimenting with words and expanding her already insane vocabulary. She has informed us that Hunter is obnoxious.

4.  Bailey takes after her daddy. She was walking through the living room, kicked the foot of our swing and immediately glared at me and said "Ugggggg, why you move that there!" The swing has been there for 4 months and hasn't moved.

3.  Hunter had his 4 month check up last week. His doctor told me that he needed more tummy time to force him to stretch his neck muscles. She said he's too lazy to hold his head up straight. I put him on his tummy the next night and he rolled over for the first time 5 seconds later. I guess he likes being lazy.

2.  We had a fly sneak in the front door which isn't hard since both of our older 2 like to hold it open and take forever getting into the house. Bailey told Daddy he needed to spank the fly with the fly swatter.

1.  Tyler gets the award for the funniest moment and I believe that it has earned me the mother of the year award. We were getting ready to go home after a long day of school and I noticed his shirt was on backwards. I asked him if he knew and he said "Yup! And my shorts are on inside out!" How this happened and I didn't notice, I'm not sure!

Have a great weekend!!

Catch the Moment 365 ~ Week 32

The summer flew by this year, as it seems to do every year. Life has been crazy hectic with getting everything moved to my new school and ready for the year to start. I'm hoping to get all caught up with the project this week, but we'll see how busy we stay! For now, here are the pictures from our last official week home, even though much of the week was actually spent at school.

August 8, 2014:  These snuggles are sure going to be missed! He's grown up so fast over the last few months, I can't imagine how fast he'll grow when I'm only going to see him for a few hours a day.

August 9, 2014:  These eyes and this face, they have me wrapped around his little finger!

August 10, 2014:  A little angel fun with Miss anti-picture.

August 11, 2014:  It was a wear my big brother's t-shirt, no pants and eat dry cereal on the couch kind of morning.

August 12, 2014:  Hi mom!

August 13, 2014:  Squeeeeezing in some last minute summer fun at the sprinkler park with some friends.

August 14, 2014:  After a week of moving my stuff out of the old school and into the new as well as new teacher orientation, I am ready for the new school year!
