Top 5 Saturday Laughs: 4-26-2014

It's been a busy week as usual. Between regular weekly activities/responsibilities, Easter, and prepping my room for my long-term sub to begin I'm beyond exhausted. But as usual, the kids were full of the sillies this week and provided us with a few giggles. :0)

5.  Bailey loves her "real" baby. She is constantly rubbing, kissing, and talking to my belly. So sweet!

4.  A few weeks ago Bailey came home from daycare with a pink rubber duck. She got one and her friend Gabby had a matching duck. B quickly became attached and slept with it every night, until she lost it. After a few nights of crying herself to sleep I asked daycare if they remembered where they got it. She dug out the matching duck out of the toy box and Bailey squealed with joy as she "must have left it at daycare." No one tell her any different!

3.  Anytime Tyler does something to make Bailey mad she promptly asks if he "needs a whooping".

2.  Tyler checked out the Easter baskets Sunday morning and was impressed with the amount of 'sneakers' (aka- Snicker) they had in them.

1.  Before the kids went to bed Saturday evening we set out our Easter baskets in front of the fireplace so the bunny could fill and hide them. Sunday morning when B came downstairs she noticed they were gone immediately. She then said that Santa was naughty and took our baskets. Wrong holiday kiddo...

Catch the Moment 365 ~ Week 15

We've had some big changes around here with a few more to come. T-ball season is in full swing, Bailey has moved into a big girl bed (and is loving it!), and we are putting the final touches on getting ready for our new arrival! Just one more week of work and my extra long summer begins!

April 11, 2014:  Helping Mommy wash her hospital clothes and the baby's coming home outfits!

April 12, 2014: I couldn't decide which picture to post! I love the picture of Tyler practice swinging through the fence but I couldn't resist posting a picture of Bailey in her big girl bed for the first time!

April 13, 2014:  The sticker queen! She found a stash of stickers as I was cleaning the house and had them everywhere!

April 14, 2014:  T posing after his week night game.

April 15, 2014:  Silly little monster!

April 16, 2014:  Our temperatures dropped drastically half-way through the week but that didn't stop this little dude from wanting to get outside and play!

April 17, 2014:  The duck. Why she loves this thing so much I do not understand...

Top 5 Saturday Laughs: 4-19-2014

We're still playing the waiting game around here. This baby needs to make their first appearance sooner rather than later but it appears to be as stubborn as the last two. In the mean time, I have enjoyed being able to stay home and relax for Spring Break. I can make it through one more week of school, right?

5.  Bailey's baby obsession has continued. This week I dug out some of our baby gear to get it cleaned up and ready for the new baby. They are now Bailey's favorite toys. Her puppy is sleeping in the bouncer and her baby doll is down for the night in the bassinet. Baby also traveled to the store earlier today in our infant car seat.

4.  Miss independent must do everything herself including brushing her teeth. I told her that she had to let Mommy go back over them when she finished to make sure they were nice and clean. I asked her to smile so I could get to her front teeth because "they are the money makers" and she quickly responded with "I don't have money in my mouth!"

3.  Tyler is into the 'whatever I can do to make my sister mad at me I'm going to do' stage. It's been fun. She picks something up, he says it's his. She says she wants a snack, he runs to get to the snacks first. She needs the bathroom, so does he. Continue this for the entire day and well....

2.  Tyler hates getting his picture taken. If you follow my 365 day project I'm sure you'll notice that there are not very many pictures of Tyler. He asked to look at the slide show of the project so far one afternoon and realized this. Now, everyday I hear "Take my picture mom! You have hundreds of pictures of Bailey!" Dreams do come true!

1.  Bailey has randomly started calling Brandon Miss Daddy. It's the funnies thing ever! No matter what he does she won't stop! And to make it worse, Tyler will repeat it to rub it in just a little bit more. Meanwhile, I'm doing everything I can to not show my hysterical laughter!!

Catch the Moment 365 ~ Week 14

April 4, 2014

April 5, 2014:  Grandma and Papa came to watch Tyler play in his first t-ball game of the season. We also celebrated Grandma's birthday with a surprise cake that the kids helped to make.

April 6, 2014:  Our stroller and car seat finally came! Daddy couldn't put it together without at least a little bit of help!

April 7, 2014:  Work was cancelled due to rain so Brandon and Bailey had a daddy/daughter day. I guess he tired her out since this is what I came home to.

April 8, 2014:  Bailey's baby doll has been enjoying strolls around the house in our new car seat/stroller combo!

April 9, 2014:  A day of celebrating! My fantastic team of Kindergarten teacher's and I went out to dinner to celebrate our upcoming arrival! Katie decided that since she couldn't buy a gender correct balloon that she would just go ahead and buy both. ;0)

April 10, 2014:  Her days in this crib are numbered. My  baby is growing up!

Top 5 Saturday Laughs: 4-12-2014

We're counting down the days until baby #3 arrives! Yes, days OMG!! Both kids are super excited, but Bailey is just a tad obsessed. The baby is ALL she talks about! And in case you were wondering, it's her's and so is everything in the house baby related. 

Spring break started Friday afternoon and I'm looking forward to getting all of those last minute details worked out. Procrastinator I am not. ;0)

5.  Brandon told Bailey to go get a pair of jeans from her room. She ran up stairs, changed into a pair that was two sizes too small and headed back down. They made really cute capri pants, but she wasn't impressed. She stood in the middle of our living room doing the bend and squat trying to get them to loosen up a little.

4.  Ty has a very creative mind and thinks that the baby got into my tummy because I ate it. He also believes that the baby will soon crawl out of my mouth. No one tell him any different!

3.  Ty asked if I would hold a toy up to my mouth so he could see the baby stick it's hand out to grab it.

2.  Everything Bailey does lately is followed by "Me not naughty!" This  is a dead giveaway when she has done something wrong.

1.  The new stroller and car seat arrived last week. Bailey is insistent that they are her's for her baby that is in Mommy's tummy. She also insists that her baby doll ride around in the stroller and sleep in the car seat in her room at night.

Catch the Moment 365 ~ Week 13

It feels good to finally be caught up and back on track! I will admit that I have forgotten a couple of nights and had to make up a picture the next day, but at least I'm trying! Baseball is now in full swing and the spring weather seems to be here to stay! Hopefully this means that I'll be able to keep up just a little easier! 

March 28, 2014:  We suffered a huge loss today. Bailey's last fish died and she was one upset little girl. Mommy came to the rescue though and brought her to Pet Smart to pick up a few new ones! 

March 29, 2014:  The fish are a big hit! She happily watches them for her crib each night before bed.

March 30, 2014:  The sprayer went out on our sink a few months ago and Brandon finally got around to replacing it, not without help of course!

March 31, 2014:  There is nothing that my kids enjoy more than playing in the forts that Dad builds for them!

April 1, 2014:  A beautiful day after school! Tyler went out to help with grilling dinner and a little fun with our dog Zoe.

April 2, 2014:  It's hard to believe that in just a few weeks our family will be changing! I can't wait to find out if we are adding another boy or girl to our family!

April 3, 2014:   Bailey and Daddy enjoyed a few minutes of catch at Tyler's baseball practice this week.

March 21, 2014:  I love that her hair is long enough to put into pigtails now! So cute!

March 23, 2014:  Bailey was waiting all morning for Daddy to come home from work. I LOVE this picture!

March 24, 2014:  Last minute photo for the night. He can be such a stinker sometimes!

March 25, 2014:  Preparing for our new arrival. Baby books can now be checked off of my list!

March 26, 2014:  This week's inspiration was Spring. It is slowly but surly arriving to our area.

March 27, 2014:  Both children have been obsessed with Lucky Charm cereal lately! Bailey has gotten pretty good at eating it with a spoon. And at eating only the marshmallows...
