Week 8 ~ Catch the Moment

We've had yet another week filled with extra family time and snuggles due to unusual temperatures and snowfall! I've enjoyed spending extra time with my kids at home but really need to get back into our regular routine. One of the other added benefits to being at home all day, extra time to edit pictures and get my blog post up on time!

This week's inspiration was family. I have struggled the last few weeks to add in a picture for the inspiration. I took a couple this week that I was going to use, but ended up using our snow pictures instead. I'll try harder next week, I promise!

February 19:  Hunter loves taking his toys out of his 'toy box' and tossing them on the floor. I put them back in and he repeats the process!

February 20:  I promise, he does have real clothes! And I also promise these are not the same pj's that he had on yesterday. Loading and unloading the dishwasher has never been more fun than it is with my extra special helper.

February 21:  Bailey fell asleep on the couch tonight with her feet crossed so sweetly. I had to capture her little piggies while they are still cute.

February 22:  I took this stud in for his 9 month pictures today. I am so in love with this plaid shirt! This was picture number 1,398, 702 for the day and I'm pretty sure this expression says it all!

February 23:  This week seems to be all about Hunter. He's such a fun one to take pictures of with his ever present smile and pretty blue eyes. Plus he's the only one that doesn't complain.

February 24:  Snow round 1 for the week. We didn't get enough today to even cover the grass but the kids had a blast playing in it. They are calling for 7 to 10 more inches tomorrow night! This northern girl living in a southern world is super excited about this forecast!

February 25:  It started snowing again late tonight. Zoe looks less than impressed with the current weather.

Our weather forecasters were WAY off on our total snowfall for the week. We ended up only getting a few more inches which melted away quickly. On the upside, it's supposed to be back up into the 50's in a few days!

Week 7 ~ Catch the Moment

Phew what a week! The south was hit by an ice storm which has greatly interrupted our everyday lives. School was out Monday for the holiday, then we had Tuesday through Friday off from the storm and extreme temperatures. I love my kids and look forward to summers off so I can spend extra time with them, but I've never been so ready to get back to work! They are calling for more winter weather next week and I am putting in my request now, if we have to have more days off there must be a measurable amount of snow for me to play in!

February 12:  My little helper. He follows me around the house and gets into plenty of trouble now!

February 13:  The older Tyler gets, the more difficult it becomes to keep him clothed in pants that don't have holes in the knees.

February 14:  Valentine's Day is a much different holiday now that we have 3 kids. We chose to stay home and spend the day together as a family. After all, why not surround yourself with those that you love on a day like today?

February 15:  This week's theme was love.  Brandon surprised both Bailey and I with flowers for Valentine's Day. She couldn't have been more excited to find them that morning! I combined them together into one vase for our table. He has his baby girl spoiled as well as his wife.

February 16:  I say it a lot, but these cheeks!!! I love the bright morning sunshine on his face while he has eating breakfast.

February 17:  Ice Day number 1. We had to practically drag this one outside to play. Ice isn't as much fun as snow, but we made the best of it. Brandon pulled all 3 kids around on the sled for a bit and they all attempted to make 'ice balls' to throw at each other.

February 18:  Ice day 2. Most of the snow/ice that we had melted on day 1. We got a few random flakes today and we had to go out and enjoy them for the few minutes that they lasted.

Week 6 ~ Catch the Moment

Another busy week is in the books! This past weekend was so pretty! We were able to get the kids out to play for a bit and enjoyed a walk through the neighborhood. I didn't get out for many walks last summer and had forgotten just how pretty our 'lake' trail is!

February 5:  Dad came home from work and the kids attacked!

February 6:  He hates it when I take his picture and it shows in pretty much every picture I take of him.

February 7:  Little one fell asleep before we could get her to bed tonight. This is the result of waking up early, playing hard all day and refusing to take a nap.

February 8:  Such a gorgeous day today! Our neighborhood finally repaired our park and the kids had a blast playing!

February 9:  I totally forgot to take a picture today and had to quick sneak in and snap this one of the little guy sleeping. I risked waking him up, but it was worth it!

February 10:  I swear this is all they do now! As soon as we get home from school/daycare they are on the electronics. I can't wait for spring and t-ball to start to get them out and about some more!

February 11:  Anybody else hate these things but still feel they must eat them because they are part of the season?

Week 5 ~ Catch the Moment

This has been such a long week! Our school held it's annual Literacy Night Tuesday night. It was a fun and educational night but I'm still trying to recoup from it! Hunter also had his 9 month check-up on Monday which went great!

January 29:  There is something special about the toothless grins of 2nd graders. His dad wants to take him for a hair cut this weekend, but I'm loving the long haired shaggy look!

January 30:  This week's inspiration was self. Thank goodness it was an easy one! After a long 13 hour day at school, I was at a loss for a picture. A mirror selfie picture it was!

January 31:  Whenever there is an empty box in the house, a 3 year old little girl ends up inside.

February 1:  This isn't the best angle of him loving on his Mickey Mouse, but this little dude is WAY too fast now! It didn't matter where I sat on the floor, he would turn in the other direction and take off before I could catch the shot! At least it shows off his pretty eyes.

February 2:  Yet another inspiration picture, this one taken by hubs. That makes 3 pictures in the first 33 days that I've made it into, yay!

February 3:  I was out of ideas tonight and happened to find Hunter's pacifier sitting on the changing table. It's only a matter of time before these disappear from our life forever.

February 4:  Bailey has her own special style!
