Catch the Moment 365 ~ Week 20

I can't believe we're already on week 20! We had a super busy week. Bailey turned 3, we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary, and Tyler played in 2 ball games. To round out the week, our friends welcomed into the world their beautiful baby boy! I can't wait to get some cute pictures of the two babies together. It couldn't have been a better week!

Catch the Moment 365 ~ Week 19

We've now been a family of 5 for 2 full weeks! Daddy decided to spoil the kids this week and bought them a new pool. I'm sure there will be plenty of pool pictures over the coming weeks!

May 19, 2014:  Our princess loves to steal everyone else's food. Dad sat down to eat a salad and she made herself right at home in his lap so she could steal a few bites.

May 10, 2014:  The set up of the pool! The kids worked all day for two days getting this thing ready. It didn't help that they set it up on a rainy weekend and had to stop several times to wait for a rain cloud to pass. Bailey had fun playing with the hose as it filled up!

May 11, 2014:  Despite the water being ridiculously cold, both kids spent most of the day Sunday swimming!

May 12, 2014:  Our Aunt Karen came up for a visit today and brought the older two kids some bubbles to play with.

May 13, 2014:  Back in the pool we go! Bailey loves to shoot the squirt gun at our dog Zoe. No worries, she loves water and enjoys every minute of it!

May 14, 2014:  I can't believe he's 2 weeks old already, yikes! Slow down a little bit big man, Mommy wants to enjoy you a little longer!

May 15, 2014:  I sent Daddy and Bailey to the store to buy Hunter a play gym and they came back with this. Bailey has decided it's hers and spent most of the day crawling in and out of it as well as putting her stuffed animals to sleep in it.

This post is actually going up on time! I'm so proud! ;0) I'm having a blast keeping up with this project, especially now that I'm getting some energy back. I can't wait to print all of the pictures at the end of the year and create a scrap book of our year!

Catch the Moment 365 ~ Week 18

With a new subject to photograph in our house, I'm finding plenty of photo opportunities. I just need to make sure that I'm getting pictures of everyone and not just the little one. But he's sooooo cute!!!

We are all adjusting to having a newborn in the house again. It's amazing what you forget in just a few short years! Bailey and Tyler are loving their new baby brother and often fight over who is going to help take care of him. We'll see how long that lasts!

May 2, 2014:  Our first full day home with this handsome fellow! I love this picture, he looks so peaceful!

May 3, 2014:  Our first visitors! Hunter's Great-Grandma, 2 Great-Great Aunts, and his Great-Great Uncle Terry came from Michigan to visit. We were a little nervous that Hunter wouldn't be here for their visit yet, but he made sure to enter this world just a few days before their arrival.

May 4, 2014:  Bailey wants to hold Hunter all the time! Obviously the excitement has gotten to her a little bit though as she fell asleep with him on her lap!

May 5, 2014:  These cheeks!!!

May 6, 2014:  Baby toes are the cutest! I love the perspective of this picture.

May 7, 2014:  A little watercolor painting fun!

May 8, 2014:  This flower was a wedding shower gift from my Aunt Kathy. It has moved houses 4 times and lived in 2 different states. Almost 10 years later and it's still going strong!

Catch the Moment 365 ~ Week 17

This week was a busy one indeed! My first week of maternity leave, a trip to the gold mine, and the birth of our 3rd child! It makes me tired just thinking about the week!

April 25, 2014:  Not gonna lie, I didn't get a picture today. Hey, I'm tired! But I don't want to be short a picture so I'll throw in an extra picture from our trip to the gold mine. I just couldn't pass this picture of Daddy and Bailey up!

April 26, 2014:  Some friends of ours decided that it would be a great idea to drag the 39 week preggo out to the local gold mine to see if we could get labor moving. It didn't work, but a great time was had by all!

April 27, 2014:  Bailey struck it rich at the gold mine and is obsessed with her little piece of gold. She carried it around all day today!

April 28, 2014:  One of the best parts about maternity leave is getting home early with Tyler from school. We actually have time to get outside and play!

April 29, 2014:  You guessed it, I went into labor today! At this point I was feeling pretty good about it! Don't worry though, this smile faded quickly. ;0)

April 30, 2014:  After 10 hours of labor, Mr. Stubborn decided to make his debut. I think he was just as tuckered out as I was!

May 1, 2014:  Home sweet home! Bailey is loving having her own 'real' baby at home!

Hopefully having a newborn in the house will get me motivated to keep going with this project. He sure makes a cute subject for my pictures!

Catch the Moment 365 ~ Week 16

This post is crazy late! Due to the baby coming any day, we decided to celebrate Easter at our house this year. Mom, Dad, and my brother all came over to celebrate. I returned to work for my final week going on maternity leave. Boy am I going to miss my babies at school!

April 18, 2014:  Daddy brought home flowers for me Bailey. Funny how she always seems to steal my flowers!

April 19, 2014:  Decorating Easter eggs with the kiddos! Bailey couldn't get them into the colors fast enough!

April 20, 2014:  Easter egg hunting

April 21, 2014:  Mom made an Easter wreath for us. I love the spring colors and am not ready to take it down!

April 22, 2014:  Bailey loves to help make dinner!

April 23, 2014:  Tonight I had little inspiration. At 9 months pregnant and still working full time, I am out of energy! So I snapped this picture of our ceiling fan that the kids helped Dad to install over the weekend.

April 24, 2014:  Bailey wasn't feeling very photogenic tonight!

It's A....

I don't normally like surprises, but there isn't a surprise in the world better than waiting to find out if your baby that you have spent 9 months getting to know is a boy or a girl. We chose with our first child to find out his gender, but decided for the 2nd and most recently the 3rd to not find out.

After 9 long months of guessing and waiting not so patiently, I am proud to announce the birth of our beautiful baby boy, Hunter Allen!

Welcome to this crazy family little man. You have only been here for a few short days and have already touched all of our hearts. Love you to pieces little guy!
