Wordless Wednesday: 3-28-2013

These pictures are a  little old, but I just found them and realized that I never posted them! The kids' first trip to Build-A-Bear. 

Bailey wouldn't let go of her bear and gave the lady a dirty look when she took it to fill it up with stuffing!

Such a great time, we'll be going back soon!

Top 5 Saturday Laughs: 3-23-2013

5.  Bailey loves to play chase, especially around the dinning room table. But, she's a fast little stinker. So the only way to catch her is to stop mid-run, turn around, and go the other way. The other day I was doing just that when she stopped mid-run and went the other way. And now my game is ruined. She.figured.it.out!

4.  Tyler decided he wanted pizza rolls for dinner tonight. Fine by me, no cooking neccessary (other than a few seconds in the micro of course). While doing dishes, I hear, 'Hey, you stole that!' and turned around to find her crawling across the table happily holding one of Ty's rolls.

3.  Bailey thinks the baby at daycare is her very own living baby doll. Enough said.

2.  On the first day of t-ball coach told Tyler to go get a bat and helmet. Instead of going to the dugout like everyone else, he ran off the field and over to the playground (which was only a few feet away) to find me and desperately request for a helmet and bat. Only my boy...

1.  Brandon was tucking Bailey in while I tucked Tyler in Wednesday. He told her he loved her and she said 'wuv too!' for the first time (I heard it too, so I know he wasn't telling stories). I went in and told her I loved her, her reply, 'Bye!'

Top 5 Saturday Laughs: 3-16-2013

5.  Tyler has become a great helper at school. He happily sharpens pencils, cleans tables, and passes out papers. For every teacher in the building, except mom.

4.  Brandon bought a case of Pepsi to fulfill my daily caffeine fix for the week. We normally are Coke drinkers, but hey, I'll take the caffeine from Pepsi over none any day. Tyler asks every morning if he can have a 'Petski'. I tell him it's a Pepsi and he repeats, 'That's what I said, a Petski!'

3.  My darling daughter loves to eat. Except at breakfast, lunch or dinner. Instead, she spends her day asking for a 'nack'. ALL. DAY. LONG!

2.  Bailey had a bowl of grapes for her 'nack' one night. I stole one from her and she said 'Hey!'. I took another and she said 'Hey!' Repeat about a dozen times. Then she walked away from me with her bowl.

1.  I was talking to Tyler about t-ball this week. He told me, "Mom, I don't want to be the catcher guy, or the whacker guy. I want to be the bad guy. You know the one with the mask and all the pads that sits down like this (demonstrates)." Obviously his coaches have their work cut out for them!

Wordless Wednesday: 3-13-2013

Top 5 Saturday Laughs: 3-9-13

5.  I may or may not have taught Bailey how to put her hand out and say "Money peeeeeaaas Daddy!" Training her early.

4.  Bailey was walking through the kitchen and walked straight into a wall. No worries, she bounced off but played.it.out.

3.  My brother's birthday was on Monday so I had Tyler call to tell him happy birthday. It was a nice break. Tyler talked his ear off for about an hour. I think we'll be calling Uncle Curt more often!

2.  Bailey gets mad at my hair. She refuses to lay on my shoulder unless I move my hair out of the way.

1.  Tyler has a friend at school who's mom has been subbing. They've been getting their early which T loves because it gives him someone to play with while Mommy preps for the day. When I woke him up at 5:45 to eat breakfast the other day he said "Mom, we better hurry up cause I'm loosing play time with A!"

We couldn't find the kids' gloves so we improvised and they wore Dad's work gloves instead! :)

Top 5 Saturday Laughs: 3-1-2013

I've been slacking a little this month, oops. It seems like every week we've had someone down and out with something which has kept me busy! Two weeks ago Bailey got hit by a stomach virus. Last weekend it was me, and this weekend both of the kids are sick. I sprayed the house down today and will air it out as soon as the temperatures come up a little bit. Spring needs to arrive, and soon!

5.  Bailey played catch with me yesterday. She would throw the ball, forget to let go on time, and hit herself in the face with the ball. Then laugh and repeat.

4.  Tyler got a dart gun for Christmas. Bailey has confiscated it. She'll fill it up with 'bullets,' hand it to either Brandon or myself and then run and hide in a corner with her eyes covered.

3.  My husband will deny it until the end, but he's OCD. He is beginning to push his OCD ways on my daughter which drives me nuts! She now spends 5 minutes every night making sure each blanket, doll, stuffed animal, and pacifier are in the exact spot she wants them.

2.  Bailey has a couple of lovey blankets that I sewed for her when she was little(r). She always lays out the pink blanket to put her head on when she is getting her bed organized. One night, I snuck in and layed out the brown blanket before she came upstairs. She got everything else ready then turned to find the wrong blanket in her spot. She wasn't a happy camper. :)

1.  Bailey has had a runny nose the last couple of days. She was laying on my shoulder today giving me a hug  and I asked her if she wanted to give Tyler a hug. She said 'yup' and turned to give him one. He screamed and ran away because 'I don't want a snotty hug!'
